Introduction

 

Background

ICUMAS 2014 Summit is a major event held by the International Institute of Utility Specialists (IIUS), China Association of City Planning Underground Pipeline Committee and China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges, to discuss popular issues on utility management and safety. It is the first time to organize ICUMAS Summit in outside Hong Kong, any individuals or corporations interested are welcome to take a role in it.

Objectives

Establishment of International Standards

Different practices are adopted by different utility parties all over the world. By strengthening the communication among the utility professionals, ICUMAS Summit would facilitate the establishment of international standards in utility industries. This year our theme is Utility Total Asset Management which focuses on the comprehensive management of utilities.

 

Communication Platform

ICUMAS Summit provides an excellent platform and opportunity in keeping abreast of latest knowledge and experience about utility management and safety, offering a channel to network with utility specialists, and promoting continuous cooperation among utility industry worldwide.
